• What is Coliseum Central on Ice?
Coliseum Central on Ice is the Peninsula's only outdoor ice rink presented by the Virginia Air & Space Center and Langley Federal Credit Union.
The rink provides 5,000 square feet of icy surface for public skating.

• Is the ice skating rink located outdoors?
Yes, Coliseum Central on Ice is an outdoor ice skating rink! However, the rink is covered by a large tent to protect it from the elements.

• How do I get to Coliseum Central on Ice?
Take I-64 to Exit 263- Mercury Blvd/Hampton Coliseum onto Mercury Blvd (US-258 N).
The Ice Rink will be on your right located in the parking lot of Hampton Chevrolet Mazda.

• When will Coliseum Central on Ice open?
The ice rink will open for the season Saturday, November 22, 2008.

• When will Coliseum Central on Ice close?
The ice rink will close for the season Sunday, March 8, 2009.

Yes, the ice rink will be operating daily, December 22 - 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Is there an area to sit if I don't want to skate?
Yes, we have a heated, covered seating area next to the ice rink with limited seating.
There is also bleachers available.

• Are there any days in which the ice skating rink will not be in operation?
No, once open, the rink will operate daily through March 8.

• What is the price of admission?
Skating is only $6 per person

• Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets may be purchased at Coliseum Central on Ice.

• Will ice skates be available to rent?
Yes, skates can be rented for only $2 .

• I have my own skates; is it ok for me to use them?
Visitors are welcome to bring their own skates.

Yes, anyone enjoying the ice rink has an admission price of $6.

Yes. A variety of light fare is available for purchase.

• Are there restrooms on site?
Yes. VIP ourtdoor restrooms are adjacent to the rink.
