The zoo-crew is back with a new adventure that will bring out the animal in you! Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa opens November 7, 2008. In this highly-anticipated sequel to Madagascar, Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, King Julien, Maurice, the penguins and the chimps, return with new twists and turns that are sure to keep you laughing!

 

Hopelessly stranded on the remote shores of Madagascar, the New Yorkers develop a plan to get back home to the safety of Central Park. After discovering an old crashed airplane, the penguins quickly begin making the repairs needed to get the aircraft in flight. Unfortunately, the penguins weren't the aviation experts they claimed to be, and before they know it they have crash landed in the untamed plains of Africa. For the first time the zoo-raised bunch comes in contact with their wild counterparts. They start to better understand their roots and are amazed at the differences in their ways of life. Even with plenty of land to roam the group has a heavy case of homesickness and they begin to wonder if they will ever find their way back home.
